Piper Alderman ranked across 10 legal areas in the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2021 edition

In The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific rankings for 2021, Piper Alderman has secured rankings across 10 areas, with 36 recommended and other key lawyers and over 70 testimonials received from clients.  Projects & Construction partner, Kathryn Walker, has also been named as ‘Next Generation Partner’ for Construction.

The annual rankings highlight the firm’s expertise across the areas of Construction, Corporate and M&A, Dispute Resolution, Energy (transactions and regulatory), Financial Services Regulatory, Intellectual Property, Labour & Employment, Natural Resources (transactions and regulatory), Real Estate and Restructuring & Insolvency; aligning with firm’s national core areas of service.

For the first time in the firm’s history, Piper Alderman has entered the rankings for Natural Resources (transactions & regulatory). Partners Ashley Watson and Josh Steele are recommended, with the team described as providing ‘Practical solutions and approaches to complex issues, looking not only at the legal interpretation but the commercial goals and coming up with solutions rather than hurdles.

Of the 37 recommended lawyers, 8 recommended lawyers are from the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Litigation team described as a team with  ‘…good insight and judgement across commercial litigation generally, as well as particular experience in class actions.’
