Personal Insolvency Forum 2021 – Session 1: Going behind a judgment

The Personal Insolvency Forum series is designed to educate and support our clients with practical advice delivered by our team of experts, who aim to simplify some of the complex technical aspects of insolvency in what can often be a highly charged and inflexible environment.

Our first presentation is by Tom Besanko of Jeffcott Chambers, who has kindly agreed to discuss the conundrum faced by Trustees when called upon to “go behind a judgment” and also the potential impact on proofs of debt. Tom will explore this issue and other matters that Trustees should consider when examining and adjudicating proofs of debt.

These presentations will be in person in Adelaide and online/ virtual for our interstate colleagues (who are most welcome to join us in Adelaide for the presentation and drinks and nibbles).
