Piper Alderman is pleased to invite you to our upcoming panel discussion, Elements of Efficient Expert Evidence, held in proud partnership with the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) during Australian Arbitration Week 2025 in Sydney.

As arbitration proceedings grow in complexity and technicality, the role of expert evidence has never been more important. Expert evidence can either assist the tribunal to efficiently reach their decision, or hinder the tribunal from doing so (at great cost to parties).

This session brings together leading voices from across the arbitration landscape (arbitrators, advocates, practitioners, and experts) to give contemporary perspectives on, and explore practical strategies for improving the use of, expert evidence in arbitration.

Through shared experiences and insights, our panel will examine topical issues including:

  • How tribunals can intervene to improve the efficiency of expert evidence
  • The emerging role and use of artificial intelligence
  • Experiences with oral testimony

This promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking panel discussion, we hope you can join us.
