Emma is a driven and experienced legal professional with a passion for helping businesses navigate employment and industrial relations matters. With experience working in variety of environments ranging from large law firms, industry associations and boutique firms, Emma has a comprehensive understanding of the legal needs of businesses of various sizes and across an array of industries.

Emma approaches all legal issues with a commercial mindset, ensuring that she provides practical advice to her clients. As well as her legal qualifications, Emma holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) with Distinction which assists her in bringing a degree of commerciality to her legal advice.

She has experience in many areas of employee and industrial relations including, but not limited to, enterprise bargaining, industrial instrument interpretation, employee management and disciplinary advice, transfer of business advice, contract and policy drafting and interpretation, restraint of trade advice and litigation, employment disputes, sexual harassment, bullying and apprentice and trainee advice. Emma is also regularly involved in delivering workplace training to her clients and their employees.

Lucie Lawrence-Wall is an experienced professional in employment law, providing comprehensive services in contractual matters, employee management, policy development, enterprise bargaining, sale of business, employment related litigation, wage reviews and dispute resolution. Her expertise spans across various industries, advising employers on their rights and obligations, preparing contracts of employment, reviewing legal documents, and representing employers in employment-related disputes. Lucie’s approach is characterised by timely and commercial legal advice, supporting her clients through every stage of employment.

In addition to her broad industry experience, Lucie has a special interest in education law. She provides advice to the education sector, including preschools and childcare centres, on employment law, contractual matters, and civil litigation. She is adept at managing reasonable adjustments for students with particular needs, understanding the delicate balance between parental expectations and what is feasible and reasonable.

Before her legal career, Lucie worked in business banking and Treasury for a major Australian bank. This background enables her to consider the broader economic and financial circumstances when providing strategic commercial advice to organisations in managing their workforce. Her unique blend of banking and legal expertise allows her to provide well-rounded advice to her clients.
