Psychosocial hazards at work can arise for a variety of reasons and are very likely to be the cause of psychological and physical harm to employees and liability-related issues for an employer. For this reason, the issues of bullying, discrimination and harassment should be approached in a proactive manner, both behaviourally and also from a work health and safety perspective.

In this session, we will cover:

  • The differences between bullying, discrimination and harassment, and identifying these unlawful behaviours;
  • How the behaviours can create significant workplace/psychosocial hazards;
  • Common causes and known risk factors for these psychosocial hazards in the workplace; and
  • What businesses should do to manage these risks.

This session will be relevant for anyone in an inhouse counsel or risk management role.
