Dustin joined Piper Alderman as an Associate in 2022. Prior to this, he has worked for two leading boutique firms in Adelaide, as well as a large employer association, providing specialist in-house employment relations advice.

Dustin is experienced in all areas of industrial law, including drafting employment contracts, policies and enterprise agreements, assisting and advising in disciplinary procedures and handling potential claims such as unfair dismissals, general protections claims and worker’s compensation claims.

During his career, Dustin has acted for both employees and employers, ranging from sole traders through to large, national corporations, giving him insight into a wide range of matters impacting employers and organisations. Most recently, Dustin has assisted, advised and represented clients in disputes across jurisdictions, with a particular focus on enterprise bargaining and complex worker’s compensation claims.

Dustin has carved his niche in employment law, having previously practiced across a range of commercial areas, with a particular focus on Company and organisation structures and director/shareholder disputes. This diverse experience has granted him a unique perspective, which allows him to provide holistic advice, taking into account various legal and business considerations, that benefit his clients at each stage of the employment lifecycle.
