We are delighted to invite you a forum partnered with the Resolution Institute and the Institute of Building Consultants to explore the Class 2 Building Work Regulations, and hear from the Office of the Building Commissioner.

We will be joined by Jason Li, Principal Technical Advisor at Fair Trading, Department of Customer Service, NSW who will discuss:

  • Progress with the Design and Building Practitioner Act 2020 and how it is enhancing building quality and compliance;
  • Aspects of the residential Apartment Buildings (Compliance and enforcement Powers) Act 2020; and
  • Progress with audits and substantive changes in behaviours.

This forum will be of interest to contract administrators, contractors, developers, design professionals, building consultant and legal professionals involved in the residential construction industry.
