The NSW Government has made amendments to its housing policy with zoning reforms, in an effort to ease the housing supply crisis in the State.
The amendments allow mid-level development within 400m of certain transport centres with the introduction of Transport Orientated Development (TODs) that will apply and override local environmental plan controls, however heritage considerations will still form part of the assessment process and the Apartment Design Guide must still be considered by consent authorities.
There has been significant community engagement with these developments, and a local council has already flagged its intention to commence legal proceedings against the NSW Government.
Join our partners Paul Vergotis and Teodor Lomaca to explain the consequences of the TODs, how to navigate the changes and potential opportunities – from a planning and construction perspective.
The workshop is open to all organisations, excluding other legal service providers. |
