Profile
Allyson represents public and private clients in connection with acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, public and private securities offerings, public and private M&A and general corporate matters (including ASX Listing Rules and Securities law advice). She has practiced across diverse sectors including minerals, agriculture, mining and energy, and understands the nuance and due diligence requirements across sole and multi-industry clients.
She regularly oversees the entire lifecycle of transactions, from initial drafting to final execution. Further, Allyson efficiently manages key aspects of deals with minimal supervision and is adept to the fine balance between legal precision and commercial practicality. Allyson also regularly provides advice on commercial contracts in the energy and resources sector.
Before joining Piper Alderman, Allyson worked as in-house counsel at Queensland’s largest alumina refinery where she gained intimate knowledge of Board processes, the operations of a large-scale plant and the intricacies of joint ventures.
