Piper Alderman is pleased to invite you to the second session in our 2026 R&D Tax Series, delivering expert led sessions on topical and emerging issues impacting the R&D tax incentive for both advisers and claimants.
Following our opening Live Q&A session earlier this year, this webinar will turn to the future direction of the R&D tax incentive, exploring how policy reform, legislative developments and emerging technologies are shaping the compliance, risk, and dispute landscape.
Led by Piper Alderman’s tax partner Megan Bishop, together with Christian Febbraro and Gideon Stein, this session draws on deep experience advising across the full R&D lifecycle, from registration and compliance through to regulator engagement and litigation.
In this session, we will share our thoughts on:
- The Strategic Examination of R&D — key recommendations relevant to R&D tax incentives and any announcements arising from the Federal Budget.
- Recent legislative changes excluding gambling and tobacco activities — what these changes signal and the likely impacts for claimants and advisers.
- The rising role of AI in R&D compliance — where AI related issues are likely to be felt across compliance, registration, examination, and disputes, and how businesses and advisers can adapt.
Who should attend?
Tax advisers, R&D advisors, CFOs and in house teams, R&D teams, founders, and other R&D compliance participants. Claimants currently navigating regulator engagement, or considering future compliance and dispute risk, may also find this session of interest.
If you are unable to attend live, a recording will be available on-demand. Please register to receive the link.
| The workshop is open to all organisations, excluding other legal service providers. |
