Alicia Chryssochoides is a Partner in Piper Alderman’s Sydney office, where she is a member of the Real Estate, Planning and Environment and Local Government practice group.
Alicia specialises in all areas of environment and planning law in New South Wales. Alicia advises on a broad range of matters including land use planning, major projects, contaminated land management, pollution incidents, energy reporting requirements and climate change, waste and heritage.
Alicia appears in the Land and Environment Court on merit appeals and mediations, judicial review and enforcement proceedings, and has conducted environmental prosecutions on behalf of local government authorities.
Alicia has acted on behalf of many large-scale property developers, state and local government instrumentalities and state owned corporations. Alicia has also worked extensively in affordable housing and infrastructure has a particular focus on the community housing sector.
