Profile
Teodor Lomaca is a senior front-end projects and construction partner with over 10 years of significant experience advising on project delivery methods, drafting and negotiating upstream and downstream agreements, conducting detailed risk analysis, and advising on general contract administration.
Teodor has acted for principals, contractors, governments, developers and consultants at every point in the lifecycle of a project, and has a strong understanding of differing stakeholder imperatives (commercial, technical and legal). He has advised clients including foreign companies in the Australian market, across all sectors (road, rail, infrastructure, renewables, commercial building, residential) on the full spectrum of construction documentation – from Project Deeds, Development Management Agreements, D&C contracts, EPC, ITC, ECI, construct-only, consultant arrangements, alliancing and JVs.
Teodor also has invaluable experience guiding project participants through the procurement process of a transaction, bringing his knowledge of commercial drivers and technical experience to the table, with practical and commercial advice on risk, regulatory and compliance issues, market expectations, and the negotiation of all critical matters which may arise during the delivery of a project.
Since 2022, Teodor has been continued to be recognised as a construction law “rising star” in the Doyles Guide and is also featured in the Legal 500.
He is a member of both the Society of Construction Law Australia as well as the Property Council of Australia.
