Acquisition of Base Metals Project from Liquidator

Red River Resources (RVR) is an Australian gold and base metals producer with a multi-asset operating business and exciting exploration upside. The company aims to deliver prosperity through lean and clever resource development. RVR wanted to acquire the Thalanga Base Metal (Copper, Lead, and Zinc) Mine in Northern Queensland from Liquidator of Kagara Limited (ASX:KZL) in October 2014.

Under the leadership of Josh Steele and Greg English, the Piper Alderman’s team acted as legal advisers on the acquisition, transaction structuring, and associated due diligence of the Thalanga Base Metal Mine in Northern Queensland.
