Supermarket Syndications Group purchases major regional site

Piper Alderman acted for V H Property Holdings Pty Ltd (the “Supermarket Syndications Group”) out of Melbourne which purchased from Coles Group for $21m the recently built 10,000 sq m
Bunnings Warehouse in Victor Harbor, South Australia. The transaction settled in March 2019.

The transaction involved significant due diligence, including extensive negotiation of the sale contract on behalf of the purchasing syndicate, stamp duty and GST advice and all matters required in order to achieve a timely settlement.

Piper Alderman also acted for the same syndicate on the sale of a large Woolworths Supermarket and Big W complex for $32m in Gawler (regional South Australia) in 2017.
