Genevieve is a Senior Associate in Piper Alderman’s Employment Relations team, based in Perth. She advises employers on a broad range of employment, workplace relations and work health and safety matters, helping clients navigate complex workplace issues, regulatory obligations and employment disputes and litigation.
Genevieve’s experience at international, national and local firms has provided her with a deep commercial understanding of the intricacies of operating in and across these markets.
Genevieve has experience advising on industrial instruments, workplace disputes, discrimination and harassment claims, performance management, restraints, terminations, redundancies, investigations, underpayments, transfer of business, whistleblowing matters and employment-related regulatory compliance. She also assists clients with work health and safety compliance, incident response and regulatory investigations, including defending prosecutions brought by workplace safety regulators.
Her clients span a diverse range of industries, including mining and resources, construction, property, agriculture, energy, transport, education, government, aged care and disability services, and sport and entertainment. Known for her commercial and pragmatic approach, Genevieve works closely with clients to identify risks, resolve issues and achieve practical outcomes aligned with their business objectives.
