Louise Gehrig is a highly experienced litigator with more than 20 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution in corporate and commercial law, trust and estate litigation, particularly at Supreme and Federal Court level.
Louise’s areas of expertise include property and commercial disputes, Australian Consumer Law including unconscionable conduct and misleading and deceptive conduct in business, wills, estates and trust disputes, banking and finance litigation.
She has built a reputation in the market for being an astute, straight talking litigator, who focuses on achieving practical, commercial outcomes. She has acted for a range of institutional and private clients from both a plaintiff and defendant side.
Louise also has a keen interest in elder abuse and has worked on a variety of pro bono claims defending seniors’ rights. She also has an interest in the sports, entertainment and hospitality industries, having worked on a substantial case in the ticketing industry, acted for an AFL Club and also a hotel operator in Victoria’s Hotel Quarantine Inquiry.
