Mark is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience in mid-tier law firms.  As head of litigation at his previous firm, Mark was responsible for both big-ticket litigation and high-volume debt recovery litigation and is well versed in securities law and the Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA).  He acts in litigious and non-litigious matters, and has successfully conducted a significant number of high-value multi-party litigation proceedings on behalf of his clients.

Acting for clients across a range of sectors, Mark provides commercial, pre-insolvency advice to company directors and insolvent individuals, and also advises in relation to the appointment of administrators in insolvency.  Mark has also acted for and against liquidators and trustees in bankruptcy, in matters related to the recovery of voidable transactions and the setting aside of antecedent transactions.

With degrees in both law and economics, Mark brings a commercial approach to his advocacy and also applies alternate dispute resolution techniques to achieve the most efficient and cost effective outcome for his clients. Throughout his career, Mark has regularly published insights and thought pieces on related topics.
