Rob is an experienced litigator with a strong background in dispute resolution involving banking and finance, property and commercial leasing, contracts, insolvency, corporate law and the Australian Consumer Law. He has a love for advocacy and is devoted to pursuing the rights of his clients and achieving successful outcomes whether they be in the court room or other dispute resolution forums. He has also played a key role in recent government inquiries, acting for Stamford Plaza Melbourne in the Victorian COVID-19 Hotel Quarantine Inquiry of 2020.
Rob has developed a reputation for his tenacity in advancing his clients’ position and his ability to cut through the legal issues and principles to help his client’s understand their position and decide how best to proceed.
Working with Louise Gehrig, Rob acts for a range of institutional, corporate and private clients whether they be as plaintiffs or defendants. Rob also shares a keen interest in the rights of the elderly and, on a pro bono basis, has assisted some of the communities’ most vulnerable members to protect their assets and prevent elder abuse.
Rob also has a very keen interest in equitable and statutory Unconscionable Conduct and runs a blog with Louise Gehrig that helps to keep the legal community informed about recent court decisions and the developing application of the remedy throughout Australia.
