Simon brings more than 25 years of legal experience advising on real assets, infrastructure and capital projects across Australia and Asia. He acts for corporate and government clients, fund managers, developers, institutional investors and foreign investors on complex transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, development arrangements, capital structuring and foreign investment (FIRB) approvals.
His experience spans a range of sectors, with particular depth in renewable energy projects in Western Australia, major mining and resources infrastructure (including lithium-related developments), port and logistics facilities, community housing and social infrastructure projects supported by government funding, and large-scale commercial, industrial, retail property, agricultural, and age care transactions. He also has significant experience advising on urban regeneration, precinct development, and mixed-use projects.
Simon specialises in high-value, complex transactions involving significant regulatory, infrastructure and development components. He is recognised for his ability to advise across the full lifecycle of major projects, including land tenure and access, structuring, regulatory approvals and project delivery risk.
