09/07/2026

Piper Alderman is pleased to have advised the Singapore-listed industrial and logistics real estate investment trust, AIMS APAC REIT, on its subsidiary trust entering into a Contract of Sale to acquire two adjoining properties at 398 Bushmead Road and 286 Stirling Crescent, Hazelmere, from BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd for $42.7 million. The 9.2ha properties are leased to Swan Materials, a Western Australian construction materials and concrete business.

Piper Alderman Perth partner Simon Taskunas led the firm’s team, with key support from special counsel Regina Bradford, associate Jasmine Lim, and senior conveyancer Kelly Robinson.

Mr Taskunas said the firm was proud to have supported AA REIT on the acquisition, which reflects the REIT’s portfolio strength across Asia-Pacific.

“We are delighted to have advised AA REIT on its maiden investment in Western Australia, securing a high-quality industrial asset in a prime Perth location. We look forward to supporting AA REIT’s continued growth in Australia.”

This matter further demonstrates Piper Alderman’s leading capability in advising on significant real estate acquisitions and cross-border investment transactions. The firm regularly acts for domestic and international investors on strategic industrial, logistics and infrastructure-related assets across Australia.
