Piper Alderman welcomes Dispute Resolution and Litigation Partner in Sydney

National law firm Piper Alderman is pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah Brown as a Partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice, based in the Sydney office. She joined the firm on 7 October 2025.

Hannah is an experienced commercial litigator with significant expertise in managing high value and complex matters before both Federal and State Supreme Courts. Her experience spans a broad range of legal areas, industries, and jurisdictions, having qualified and practised in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. She has a particular focus on litigation funding and has represented clients in matters involving contractual disputes, negligence claims, competition and consumer law, corporations’ legislation, fraud, and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties.

Hannah has represented ASX-listed companies, major financial institutions, government bodies, property developers, construction companies and individual clients. She also brings specialist expertise working with litigation funders on plaintiff-led class actions.

Hannah will work alongside Practice Team Lead and Partner Martin del Gallego in the Sydney office, collaborating with the wider Dispute Resolution & Litigation team nationally to further strengthen Piper Alderman’s highly regarded litigation offering. Her appointment enhances the firm’s expertise advising on funded commercial litigation claims, including class actions, insolvency, construction and intellectual property claims as well as treaty enforcement.
