Sushi Train Australia Pty Ltd (Sushi Train) brings the passion for Japanese cuisine and unique dining concepts together for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant was founded by Bob Jones, who brought the “Rotation Sushi Bar System,” a unique original concept of picking fresh sushi moving along the conveyer belt from Japanese food culture to Australia in 1993. Today this Queensland-based company has almost 50 “Sushi Train” restaurants in Australia and New Zealand.

Piper Alderman assists Sushi Train in protecting its brands, including registering the words “SUSHI TRAIN” as a trademark, based on years of use, to help it prevent copycat restaurants from using the “SUSHI TRAIN” trademark. With our vast experience in trademark protection and copyright law, we are well-positioned to assist Sushi Train in protecting its brands and trademarks.
