Rover Coaches is a bus business, which operates in and around the Hunter Valley, NSW. The business has been operating since 1925 and holds several prominent NSW bus contracts.

Piper Alderman was engaged by the owner of Rover Coaches, Aaron Lewis to advise on the sale of the business.  It was a long and complex transaction process due to consent requirements from Transport for New South Wales in relation to the Outer Metropolitan Bus Service Contract and the Trains Contracts operated by Rover Coaches. All parties were happy with the outcome, our clients received good value for the business and the buyers retained the right to the valuable government bus contracts.

Client feedback

Aaron Lewis from Rover Coaches said:

“The sale was extremely complex as a result of the requirements for consent from Transport for New South Wales and the ever-changing structure of the transaction. With the expert advice from the team, the sale resulted in a successful completion of the transaction.”
