01/07/2017
Piper Alderman is delighted to announce 13 promotions across the firm, including two new partners, with effect from 1 July 2017.
Newly appointed partners Bianca Battistella and Joshua Annese operate out of the firm’s Corporate & Agribusiness and Banking & Finance practice teams, respectively.
Bianca has positioned herself as a trusted advisor to a variety of Australian and international clients including SMEs, not for profits and large corporate enterprises. Over the past 3 years, Bianca has developed a particular interest in the food, beverage and agribusiness industries. Bianca was recently appointed Deputy Chair of Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market Inc and is also a board member of Potatoes South Australia Inc.
Joshua specialises in banking and financial services law and acts for banks, credit unions, building societies and other non-ADI financial services and credit providers throughout Australia. His practice includes advising clients in relation to lending and deposit-taking activities, regulatory issues and reforms and the various types of distribution and commercial arrangements entered into by credit and financial services providers.
Managing Partner, Tony Britten-Jones commented “As a firm we are continuously looking for opportunities to develop and promote our internal talent. The appointments of Bianca and Joshua to Partner are reflective of our firm’s strategy for growth in a competitive market. Their approach and commitment to delivering the best possible client service aligns perfectly with our vision which was recently acknowledged at the 2017 Financial Review Client Choice Awards.”
“All our promotions reflect the maturing and development of Piper Alderman across its offices. The promotion of our lawyers is a direct result of their technical excellence, superior client service as well as strong team and personal performance.”
