Liam is a senior associate in Piper Alderman’s corporate division, with a focus on M&A transactions, equity capital markets, financial services laws, cyber security and charitable and non-profit matters.
Liam has assisted clients to acquire and divest a range of entities within Australia and abroad, advised on multiple initial public offerings on the ASX and overseas exchanges (such as the HKEX) and has extensive knowledge in respect of Australia’s corporate and financial services regimes, including in respect of issues such as managed investment schemes, Australian financial services licences, product disclosure statements and AML/CTF laws.
Liam has significant experience advising on a wide range of commercial and charitable transactions, corporate governance and structuring issues and often drafts acquisition and sale agreements, prospectuses, PDSs, notices of meetings for various listed and unlisted public entities, general contracts, manufacturing and supply side agreements, shareholders’ agreements, IPOs and ASIC compliance documentation.
Liam is seen as an emerging expert in respect of corporate and commercial issues at Piper Alderman, including M&A transactions, restructures, corporate governance and regulatory compliance (including the Corporations Act and the ASX Listing Rules) as well as cyber security, charitable and non-profit issues.
