Margot King



Margot is a real estate and projects partner based in Sydney advising both developers and landowners on property transactions.

She has particular expertise in urban regeneration projects, other property developments and renewables projects.

Margot is skilled in identifying risks and suggesting solutions to manage the risks. She takes a collaborative approach to deal making and prides herself on being accessible and advising on technical issues in plain English.

She is experienced in leading transactions and project implementation.

Margot has a multi-disciplinary background, having commenced practice in energy and resources projects in Western Australia before moving to the UK and Europe where she worked on private equity transactions and real estate projects for developers and pension funds.

On returning to Australia, Margot advised Lendlease on Barangaroo South and other projects before moving in-house as project lawyer for Walker Corporation on the Parramatta Square project.

This multi-disciplinary background gives Margot a unique skill set to think laterally about issues, assess the importance of those issues and present practical solutions to clients.
