International education company acquires online teaching resource business
Piper Alderman advised its client on the successful sale of the Teach Starter business, an online educational resources company that offers a subscription service to access teaching materials for educators, to TES.
Teach Starter is an online educational resource business that produces a range of products to be used in the classroom. It has expanded internationally since its creation in 2012 and provides teaching apps, activities and games to primary education classes.
Piper Alderman assisted in all aspects of the transaction, with the sale involving complex incentive arrangements with management, FIRB issues, and a variety of third party consent negotiations.
